Mango-Avocado Salsa

When I was first served this salsa, I was a bit wary: mango and avocado? Turns out the pairing is delicious! It’s great on its own, but I love it as a side with grilled chicken.

What you need:

  • 1-2 avocado
  • 2-3 mango
  • 1/2 red onion (about 1/3 c.), chopped
  • splash of olive oil
  • 1 T. lime juice (fresh is great, didn’t have any when taking this picture!)
  • salt and pepper, to taste


  • mixing bowl
  • cutting board and knife

Time: 10 minutes

Freezeable: No.

Serves: 4-6

Multiplying the recipe: Yes, you can adjust the amounts up or down to feed your particular crowd.

Mango-Avocado Salsa:

Combine olive oil and lime juice in a mixing bowl. Cut mango, avocado, and red onion. Toss in mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve!
