Who wants to spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and baking when it’s so hot, and there are so many things to do with the family in these waning days of summer? Well, not me. We ate pretty well this week, but to be honest, everything was fast. Anything that took longer or required much advance prep…well, it just didn’t happen. So this week I’m especially grateful for my freezer, my slow cooker, my bread machine – and speedy recipes.
