During the summer, it’s a great time to take advantage of the fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables available in the produce department. Whether you’re trying to get your kids excited about a healthy snack or side, or getting a group of friends together for a fun ladies’ lunch, you can use easy steps to create an edible garden of fruit and veggie flowers! You can assemble them all yourself so that they are ready to go, doubling as a festive centerpiece. Another option is to prepare all of the produce and materials, and then set them out on the table so that it can be a “hands-on” experience with the food. Judge your crowd and the setting on whether they’ll want to be crafty with their snack or simply appreciate the beautiful setup.
