Weekly Meal Plan #63

We are starting a new format for our Weekly Meal Plan posts. We will each take turns sharing something that was a highlight from our week, whether that is a new recipe, something that surprised us (good or bad), or something that we find helpful to point out.

My reminder to myself for this week is that sometimes I need to give myself a break. You can’t be all-in and on top of things every day. And sometimes that means that plans fall through. Forgive yourself. Feed your family, yes. If it happens to be boxed Mac and cheese or Take out pizza, okay. As long as that’s not every day, I think everyone will be fine. At least that’s what I tell myself. 😉

Katie’s plan:

  • Leftovers, raspberries, steamed carrots
  • Soups (pumpkin chili and tortilla soup, from the freezer), zucchini bread, pita crackers and sliced cheese, apples and clementines
  • Pizza, steamed carrots, raspberries and strawberries
  • Pigs in a blanket, tater tots, rotini, steamed carrots and edamame, strawberries and mandarin oranges
  • Takeout
  • Crackers, cheese, and summer sausage; salad with fixings or fresh vegetables, sliced apples
  • Dinner with family
  • Other things to make this week: iced tea with lime, mustard vinaigrette, gougeres, mini cherry heart pies

Theresa’s plan:

  • Homemade Calzones (ricotta, pepperoni) and Pizza, home-canned applesauce, broccoli
  • Dinner with family
  • Irish Oatmeal, bacon, Cinnamon-Raisin Quick Bread, raspberries, baby corn blend
  • Leftover lasagna and calzones, Rotini, sliced apples, green beans
  • Baked pork chops, Rapunzel cheese braid biscuits, Jasmine’s Sweet Potato Coins (Disney Princess Cookbook), home-canned peaches
  • Corned Beef, Potato-Leek Soup, Strawberries, frozen corn off the cob
  • Macaroni and cheese, leftover Rapunzel braids and strawberries, mixed vegetables
  • Other things to make this week: Banana muffins and mini muffins
