Apple season is a great time of the year. Every fall, we venture out to an apple orchard to pick our favorite varieties. We get some for eating out of hand, some for canning applesauce, some for making pies, and some just because it’s apple season, and baking with apples is fun.
These are two of our go-to recipes. Theresa always makes several batches of Apple-Oat Scones to freeze, and I always make Apple Crisp a few times.
